Good afternoon!  In first grade today we:

• took an addition time test.
• went to the library.  This was our last day to go to the library for the year.  Please return any books you may still have checked out.
• participated in math centers.
• learned new spelling words.  This our last first grade spelling list.  Our last test will be on THURSDAY.
• learned about how to estimate different amounts of time (one minute, hour and week).
• took a clicker test over plants.
• Table 1 won the table points for last week. 

REMINDERS:

• Tomorrow is Olympic Day at Crestwood!  Your first grader needs to wear comfortable clothes, shoes, bring or wear a swimsuit under their clothes, and put on sunscreen before coming to school.  Our class will participate in Olympic Day from 12:45-3:00 p.m.
• NO SCHOOL this Friday, May 18, due to Professional Development for teachers.

Hello!  In first grade today we:

• learned new spelling words.
• played a math game about telling time on digital and analog clocks.
• took an addition time test.
• are going to rehearse for our music program that is tomorrow at 2:00 in the gym.
• went to our literacy centers.
• could only check out one book.  This is the LAST week to check out library books.
• Catrina taught us some Romanian words and where Romania is on the map.
